Zilla Fatu, the son of the late WWE wrestler Umaga, has announced his conversion to Islam, describing the journey as “beautiful.”
Fatu made the announcement in a video on YouTube, sharing his journey and the transformative impact of the devout Muslim inmates he met during his time in prison, The Cognate reported.

The 27-year-old fitness enthusiast shared that while he became inquisitive about Islam during his time in prison, he didn’t initially take it seriously.
However, after extensive research and witnessing the way devout Muslims conducted themselves, he became increasingly drawn to the faith.
April 3, 2022 marked a turning point in Zilla’s life as he formally converted to Islam by reciting the shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith.
Embracing Islam, Zilla said he has witnessed positive changes in his life, feeling blessed and grateful for the results he has achieved.
He acknowledged that he is still striving to maintain consistency in his prayers, noting that he is not perfect but remains focused on his intentions and the teachings of Allah.
Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world, with the number of Muslims set to grow at more than twice the rate of the overall world population between 2015 and 2060 according to research by the Pew Research Center.
Earlier this year, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, the reigning ONE Championship flyweight Muay Thai champion, converted to Islam.
Also in February, Father Hilarion Heagy, a prominent Eastern Christian Priest based in California, United States embraced Islam, according to various sources.
