Ramadan Fest 2026 Set to Light Up Surrey

Ramadan Fest B.C. is set to return this March, bringing four nights of food, culture, and community to the Cloverdale Fairgrounds in the Canadian province of British Columbia.

The festival, hosted by Surrey-based Salaam Events, will run from March 5 to 8 at the Agriplex on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds, North Delta Reporter reported.

It marks the second edition of the event, following a successful debut last year that drew more than 50,000 visitors over four nights. Salaam Events is also known for organizing the annual B.C. Halal Food Fest, held each summer in Surrey.

Launched as a family-friendly night market during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Ramadan Fest B.C. combines spiritual elements with a festive atmosphere.

Last year’s event featured both indoor and outdoor spaces, with the main market inside the Agriplex and large tents set up behind the venue.

According to organizers, this year’s festival will once again offer shopping, food, and religious programming, including live cooking, Ramadan-themed lighting, prayer facilities, and community gatherings.

“Ramadan Fest 2026 is coming to Surrey BC for 4 nights of spirituality, delicious Halal Food, and over 100 vendors.”

Ramadan Market

Visitors can expect more than 80 retail market vendors and over 20 food and beverage vendors.

A dedicated masjid will be available on site for daily prayers, reflecting the spiritual focus of Ramadan, a month observed by Muslims worldwide through fasting, prayer, and charitable acts.

The festival will operate on a late-night schedule to align with Ramadan practices. From Thursday, March 5, to Saturday, March 7, it will run from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m., while Sunday, March 8, will run from 5 p.m. to midnight.

Each evening will feature two entry options: an Iftar Timing ticket, valid from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and a Suhoor Timing ticket, valid from 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Organizers emphasize that the event is open to everyone, including non-Muslims. Billed as an “open entry event,” Ramadan Fest B.C. aims to showcase cultural traditions alongside religious observance in an inclusive setting.

Ramadan Fest B.C. will run from Thursday to Sunday, March 5–8. The month of Ramadan itself is expected to begin on Feb. 17 and end on March 19.

Tickets are currently on sale online, with early bird pricing and group discounts available.

Tickets will also be sold at the door, though organizers recommend purchasing in advance, noting that peak nights sold out quickly last year.
