Ramadan is just around the corner, expected to be on April 2. As many people prepare for the holy month, food remains a part of its traditions when family and friends gather to share and enjoy suhoor and iftar.
To help refugees and the less fortunate enjoy a special Ramadan, Islamic Relief USA has launched an appeal to raise funds for free Ramadan food boxes.
“Too many of our sisters and brothers struggle to find food for iftar; parents painfully realize that they will not be able to give their children a festive Ramadan or `Eid,” Islamic Relief wrote in a statement.
