The public library in Flint invited people to get to know Muslim members of the community and learn about their culture in an event on Saturday.
The “Meet Your Muslim Neighbor” event on December 10 featured traditional food, activities, a panel discussion, and a poster exhibit called A Forgotten History: Muslims & Early America.

Guests at the event had an opportunity to open dialogue with Muslims, ask questions, and know more about Islamic faith.
A food tasting was also available and women has a change to try on a hijab.
