“We are immensely proud of our pupils’ outstanding achievements in this year’s GCSEs,” Majid Ditta, Principal at TIBHS, said.
“Their hard work, determination, and dedication have culminated in a set of impressive academic results.
“I’d like to thank our exceptional staff and supportive parents who have played an integral role in nurturing our pupils’ success. I’m thrilled that many of our boys have chosen to continue their studies with us in our Sixth Form, TB6, and I wish them all the brightest of futures.”
New Dreams
Farhan Abed, one of the top performers in the school, achieved five grade 9s (the highest possible grade).
Farhan’s exceptional results have helped him to secure a place at TB6 to study A levels in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Mathematics.
Farhan thanked the staff at the school, saying, “This would not have been possible without the dedication of my teachers and the support of my parents – I am very grateful for the opportunity.”
Also achieving top results, Shoyub Desai aims to pursue a career in medicine.
“All the teachers and support staff have helped me so much. They showed me the steps I needed to take to achieve my dreams and at each step, I was encouraged to go a little bit further,” he said.
“I am so grateful to everyone who has helped me to achieve these grades and for helping me to grow into the person I am today.”
For years, independent Islamic schools remained at the top score of UK GCSE results, setting an example for faith schools as successful, highly-achieving, and inspiring educational institutes in Britain.
The Muslim schools’ overall average of students who received five or more A*- C grade GCSEs, including English & Maths, exceeded the national average with nine schools achieving a 100% success rate – only 55 schools achieved the 100% landmark in the whole of the UK.
