A galaxy of scholars, academics, and religious and community leaders from across the world are coming together next month in the first annual Life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Conference, an event planned to share insights and exchange views between Muslims and non-Muslims.
The event by Islam Channel is planned for Saturday, September 30, at the ICC Birmingham.

“The conference will be a celebration of the month of Rabi’ Al-Awwal and will honor Prophet Muhammad’s life, legacy, and teachings bringing together scholars and academics, religious and community leaders from across the world for lively discussion and debate,” the event’s website wrote.
“This will be a unique opportunity for Muslims and non-Muslims to come together and share insights and exchange views.”
Speakers include Mohamed Ali Harrath, the founder of Islamic Channel, Jonam Van Klaveren, Naima Roberts, Prof. Joel Hayward, Dr. Musharraf Hussain OBE, and others.
Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of activities, such as Engaging Keynote Speakers Interactive Q&A Sessions, an Enlightening Islamic Exhibition, an Informative Knowledge Hub, Soulful Nasheeds, a Vibrant Shopping Pavilion, Networking Opportunities.
Prophet’s Birthday
Historians agree that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was most probably born on the 12th of Rabi’ Al-Awwal around the year 570, as marked by the Gregorian calendar.
Many Muslims see the Prophet’s birthday as an opportunity to learn about and reflect on the life of Muhammad (PBUH).
The celebrations include stalls selling Islamic books, leaflets, clothing, prayer mats, and other materials.
