LONDON – As many Muslim leaders call for more to be done to protect their worshippers from hate crimes, this video graph sheds some light on the number of hate attacks registered against Muslims over the past two years.

The video, prepared by the BBC, showed figures from Home Office, Mayor of London and Tell Mama on the rising Islamophobia in the UK.

It comes a few days after a man plowed his van into worshippers close to Finsbury Park mosque, killing one man and injuring 10 others.

The incident, widely condemned as terrorism, is the latest episode of rising attacks targeting the religious minority.
