A leading international Islamic charity is organizing a Snowdon Trek next month to support millions of Pakistani people affected by the floods.
Under the title, Dare to Trek Snowdon in the Snow, Islamic Relief will launch the challenge to ascend the 1,085 meters above-sea-level mountain on February 25, the charity’s website wrote.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands.

Helping Pakistan
Extremely heavy rainfall in Pakistan has resulted in catastrophic flash flooding, leaving one-third of the country underwater.
More than 1,700 people have died since the floods began in June 2022, including more than 640 children.
Described as a “climate catastrophe” by the UN Secretary General, the floods have left over a staggering 33 million people affected, including 8 million people displaced.
