LONDON – An enormous blaze engulfed Grenfell Tower on Latimer Road in north Kensington in the early hours of Wednesday, June 14 , Muslims awake for suhoor were among early responders, who rushed to save lives of their neighbors.
In this video, shared by HuffPost, a resident of the Grenfell Tower explains the heroic act of young Muslims who came to their help.
It is believed that hundreds of people were inside the building, and at least 50 casualties have been taken to hospital following the fire.

After the tragedy, London mosques opened their doors to help the fire evacuees.

Muslims also volunteered to give out aid and hot meals next to Grenfell Tower after taraweeh prayer on Wednesday.
Other volunteers arranged a street iftar for Grenfell residents.
