Renowned German content writer and a travel v-logger Christian Betzmann has accepted Islam, announcing the decision on Instagram to his fans.
“Islam is the religion of peace and I felt a deeper connection and something I want to experience and explore deeper for myself,” Betzmann wrote in the caption to his post, The Express Tribune reported.

The vlogger went on to say that his best childhood friends are Muslim, calling Islam “the religion of peace.”
“Growing up in Europe, the word Islam was always connected with negativity, war, terrorism and to be completely honest, I was never a religious person before so I didn’t really care what people thought back then,” he said.
“My best childhood friends were Muslims and deep inside, we are all human beings in the same simulation we call life.”

Fellow YouTubers, including Sham Idrees, Zaid Ali and showbiz names such as Minal Khan, Zoya Nasir, and Zara Noor Abbas, welcomed Betzmann’s decision to accept Islam.
Minal commented, “Mashallah, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful” whereas Zoya wished the newly convert well saying, “Mashallah! May Allah bless you with all that you desire and more. Lucky are those who find their calling.”
Zaid also commented, “Welcome my brother! May this journey be easy for you and may Allah bless you with all the happiness in the world.” Sham simply congratulated Betzmann.

Betzmann’s decision to embrace Islam followed in the footsteps of many other YouTubers who have embraced Islam recently.
In September 2020, Lwazi Sbu Lalendle, a South African YouTuber announced his decision to convert to Islam following two years of research.
A month earlier, Jay Palfrey, a young British YouTuber converted to Islam after what he described as “a very deep path of spiritual discovery for many years.”
American YouTuber, known as Mr. WHATWAA, also converted to Islam a few months ago.
