Another of the 101 is Dr. Ahmed Hankir who goes by the brand “The Wounded Healer” which he describes as, “An innovative method of teaching that blends the performing arts with psychiatry.”

But nothing compares to bathing in your love. You dragged me in, didn’t think twice. But then you left me there, nothing but ice.”
One of the veteran team members of the Muslims Doctors Association, Dr. Nadia Khalid, closed the evening, “We’re celebrating the success of doctors within the NHS and beyond, especially now, morale is quite low, there’s quite a lot of burn out within doctors who are working.”
“There are lots of things going on where people are feeling drained in medicine. And we think that is now a better time than any to celebrate success, and lifting everyone up.”
Indeed, the gala brought together many minds, sharing insight, stories, and accounts of positivity. Combined with a delicious meal, the event served as a reminder for British Muslims of the importance of being active and supporting one another to help improve all of our communities.
