What do we know about the Sabians? There are several opinions on the identity of the Sabians that are mentioned in the Quran. Shaykh Abdul Wahab Saleem explains this to us, Quoting Ibn Kathir, he says that they are neither the Jews, nor the Christians, nor are they the mushurikinss (polytheists). Rather, they are people who are still in their innate nature. And they don’t have an organized religion, they don’t follow any specific way of life.
