In the time of the Prophet (pbuh) some men were talking and saying “Why did Allah send the Quran to Muhammad (pbuh), why couldn’t Allah (swt) have sent it to someone powerful like in Taif or Makah”. Allah answers them by saying “Are you the one who is in charge of distributing the gifts of Allah, are you the one who is responsible to distribute the mercy of Allah? We are responsible to give whomever we wish and we have raised some above the others in virtue and in goodness and in wealth and in other areas in order to be a test for you”. 

When someone is jealous, if you are jealous Allah says that we have blessed him but we have also blessed you! It is Allah’s decision to give to whom He wants, what He wants, when He wants.
