Ramadan is coming alhamdulillah! Check out these tips to prepare yourself for Ramadan! Who is excited for the Holy Month to arrive?
First of all, listen to Quran recitation. Try and switch yourself from the TV, radio, Ipod and start from now listening to Quran recitation.
Secondly, ensure your home is clean. It is too tiring to be cleaning constantly during Ramadan when you are fasting. Do a big spring clean so you don’t have to make too much effort doing it during Ramadan.
Thirdly, prepare your praying space. Make it clean, wash your prayer rugs and make sure they smell nice.
Fourthly, decorate your home to get you into the spirit of Ramadan. This is especially important for children so they can feel it is a special month.
Fifthly, be productive! Make sure you have your Quran ready, your Islamic books that you may want to read during this month and a list of your goals that you wish to achieve.
Sixthly, start eating healthily so your body can be prepared and ready for the month.
Seventhly, buy your ‘Eid clothes before Ramadan starts, that way you avoid the busy crowds before ‘Eid and you don’t waste time in Ramadan shopping for clothes!
Eighthly, buy and wrap all of your ‘Eid gifts so you are prepared beforehand and you don’t spend time doing that when you can be doing extra worship during Ramadan.
