When the Prophet (pbuh) was dying he kept reciting this ayat: Surah An Nisa ayat 69. He wanted to be with those who he loved again.
Yusuf (as) wanted to be with his family members. The Prophet Muhammad (saw) told Fatima that she would be the first to join him after his death. One of the greatest pleasures of death is joining with the believing souls.
When Abu Bakr was dying he asked Aisha “What day is it” she replied “Monday”, he asked “What day did the Prophet die” she replied “Monday. Abu Bakr requested if he died that day, do not try to save him for the most beloved days to him are those which are closest to the Prophets.
