Prophet Yunus is also known as the companion of the fish, he is from the messengers. He was sent to Mosul in Iraq to over 100,000 people. The people of Mosul rejected Yunus. Yunus warned the people of a punishment but they did not listen. His patience ran out so he decided to go away and find people that would accept the message. Allah did not tell him to go away but he was so frustrated about no one listening and he wanted to spread the deen.
