How should we envisage marriage as Muslims? How will marriage bring reward and contribution to your legacy?
Of course marriage is a big commitment, but also a path to “hasanat’ (rewards).
Going through life with your spouse and building something together is a gift.
If you think about it, when Allah blesses you with children, you have the opportunity to teach Islam to your child while having rewards for it.
In this short video Sheikh Azim Khan is talking about something that we don’t always measure.
He is talking about the impact of teaching the essential of our deen (religion) to our children.
What you teach them (for example surah Al-Fatiha) will be passed onto the next generation inshaAllah. And then the next, and so on…
As a matter of a fact we often overlook what women or men can do inside their homes. Rather we will see the bright side of what they do outside (career-wise or others).
But in reality the efforts that you will do to teach your child the most recited Surah Al-Fatiha will bring an unlimited reward!
Remember that we recite this surah 17 times a day in our daily prayers.
What a contribution to your legacy mashaAllah!
May Allah help us to spread His message, ameen.
