For those of us living in the West we can’t avoid this issue. How do we teach kids about same sex marriages?

More and more countries are allowing same sex marriages and our children are going to have questions. Every parent is obliged to teach their children our ethical values and our Shariah.

From the Islamic perspective marriage is between a man and a woman. It should be done in an Islamic manner that is appropriate.

Every parent will have to assess how mature their children are. The simplest thing to do is to say we have our way and they have their way. Allah has allowed this for us and these people are not following what Allah has allowed.

You are the only one that can determine what is appropriate for their age level. No one can tell you that better than you, their parents.
