How can I encourage my spouse to pray? This is one of the duties and responsibilities we have towards our spouse.

If you know that something down the road will harm them, you will do your best to stop that thing from harming your spouse. You do this out of love and care.

What about the akhira? You want your spouse to be with you in the akhira. Prayer is very important and it is one the main pillar of Islam.

Allah has told us to tell our family to pray and be patient. It will take time. But don’t give up. Encourage them, remind them. Ask them to pray together!

Encourage your spouse to do the voluntary prayers. Go together to the masjid! Always stay positive and make a lot of dua to help your spouse care for the prayer.
