We are eager to hide our sins from people so we should also be eager to hide our good needs from people. Showing off should be a distasteful act for us. We should be full of sincerity. 

The Companions always hid their good deeds. they were extremely sincere people and it was often only when they died, did people realise what good deeds they used to do. 

When we are arrogant and show off our good deeds this can make all of our good deeds as void. We have to worry about this. On the Day of Judgement we might find that all of our good deeds are void because we showed off in this life. 

Let’s follow the Companions as much as we can. We should hide our good deeds and we should be sincere just like they were.
