Allah has promised that if we leave something for His sake, He will replace it with something even better! 

This brings so much comfort and solace. Allah has promised those who courageously reject a sinful practice He will reward them. For those who struggle with addiction it is a great motivator.  

A group of sahabi came to a Bedouin man and asked him “Have you learned anything from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)?” He replied “Yes I heard him say “There isn’t anything that you leave for the sake of Allah, but He will replace it with something better”. That is Allah’s promise.
