The Prophet (pbuh) told his companions (ra) that no one will enter paradise if there is an atoms weight of arrogance, of pride.

A man asks “Oh messenger of Allah, man loves to look nice to dress properly”  and the Prophet (pbuh) responds “Indeed Allah is beautiful and loves beauty but arrogance and pride is the fact that you reject the truth”. You feel greater than others, bigger than others. 

The simple conversation teaches us so many things about Allah (swt). We tend to forget this in todays world. In our daily life we forget that Allah is beautiful and appreciates beauty. Allah (swt) is the origin of all beauty, that is why He created beautiful things.
