Although envy is, in general a very bad thing and we should try and avoid it, there are 2 people we should envy in Islam. 

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “There is no envy but in two cases: a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it rightly, and a man whom Allah has given wisdom, and he judges and teaches with it.” 

The lesson here is we should admire the people who use their blessings for Allah!
