Do you sometimes feel disconnected from Allah (SWT)?
Are the five daily prayers sometimes difficult for you to perform on-time?
In preparing for Ramadan, would you like to re-establish a stronger connection with Allah?
If so, you are invited to join us in this live session with sister Nahela Morales.
Salah for the soul is like oxygen for the heart. It is we who benefit when we pray on-time. And it is in our own best interest to do so, as the remembrance of Allah is the nourishment of our souls.
Allah (SWT) says in the Quran, in Surat Ar-Ra’d:
those who believe and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah. Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort. (13:28)
There are many other benefits for us when we pray, as detailed in the Quran and Sunnah. Allah (SWT) says for example:
Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, ˹genuine˺ prayer should deter ˹one˺ from indecency and wickedness. The remembrance of Allah is ˹an˺ even greater ˹deterrent˺. And Allah ˹fully˺ knows what you ˹all˺ do. (29:45)
Sister Nahela Morales shares her experience as a convert to Islam and as the co-founder of Embrace, an ICNA project dedicated to service, nourish, care and empower Revert Communities in America.
If you are a new Muslim or a born Muslim interested in reconnecting with Allah and preparing for Ramadan, don’t miss this live session.
