Amina was abandoned by her husband shortly after she got pregnant.
She didn’t have relatives or friends in the UK and was struggling to pay her rent. She suffered a lot that she had to stopped eating so that she could keep up rent payments and avoid becoming homeless.
Amina was then approached to sell her body in return for money but she refused but she said she would rather die of hunger.
Thankfully, she was offered help by a charity called the National Zakat Foundation , a foundation that help hundreds like her in the UK.
After assessing her situation, they gave her money for food and accommodation.
A few months later, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and both mother and baby are now safe.
