I Can’t Help Looking At Handsome Men

26 February, 2022
Q Salam. Even though I know it's haram, I can't help looking at handsome men. Please tell me what I should do. I feel like a very big sinner.

Answer

In this answer, you will hear:

It is human nature to look at beautiful/handsome things around us.

You are normal, your hormones make you do this, but it is Ok. You are not a sinner as long as you do not act on your feelings and things.

Work on your focus: if you notice such men, do not stare at them but shift your focus on other things.

If you practice for a while, it will become a habit.

As you are still very young, focus your life on friends and studies, and when the time comes think of getting married.
