In this fatwa:
As for menses, it is known that each woman has a special cycle. So, the regular period should be observed as menses and what follows is to be considered istihadah, in which she should clean herself and make ablution (wudu) for each prayer.
Responding to your question, Sheikh `Abdul Majeed Subh, a prominent Azharite scholar, states,
It is most likely that the disorder in your discharge is resulting from taking contraceptive pills. Anyway, you are to consider and count the regular period of your menstruation cycle and then start praying after it.
Any discharge follows it is considered istihadah; you just need to well clean yourself and make wudu for each prayer, that’s all.
Having said this, I advise you to consult a doctor to be sure regarding vaginal discharge you experience.
Allah Almighty knows best.
