Q
With Ramadan right around the corner, tahajjud is a voluntary prayer that many perform during Ramadan. What is the best time for it? What about before Ramadan? What is the best time? What is considered tahajjud?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
In this fatwa:
1- Tahajjud is defined as the late night prayer that you do sometime later at night after you wake up from sleep.
2- You can perform tahajjud any time after Isha prayer all the way until any moment before Fajr begins which is the break of the dawn.
