Is it possible that the souls of the dead meet the souls of the living?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
In this fatwa:
During sleep, our souls leave our bodies and communicate with the souls of the dead. The souls can meet and talk to each other. Ibn Al-Qayyim supported the same argument in length and detail in his book named Ar-Ruh. Although make sure you don’t confuse your dreams with reality. Dreams are very tricky.
