In this fatwa:

Induced coma is a type of long-term anesthesia, often used to protect the brain in specific cases. It is permissible due to a medical necessity.

Answering your question, The Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America, states:

Induced coma is a type of long-term anesthesia, often used to protect the brain in specific cases. It is permissible due to a medical necessity.

For the one whose coma lasts more than a day and a night, there is no requirement to make up for the missed prayers.
