Is It Haram to Work in a Restaurant That Serves Pork?

Q Is working in a place or restaurant where pork is sold as well as alcohol permissible? What does our Shariah say about this?

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

In this fatwa:

Our Shariah does not allow us to carry, transport, serve or sell alcohol in any way. We have to get out of those jobs unless there is no alternative and your living situation depends on it. As for pork, it is still haram but the level of prohibition is much less than with alcohol. Try your best to find another job.
