When a Muslim couple is in public, what is the ruling of displaying their affection for each other? Where is the line drawn? Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) say anything on this matter?

Modesty is a branch of our faith. How much affection showed in public depends on the culture of where you live. However, we must know our limits and not go too far.
