Ramadan will come knocking at our doors,

Waiting to be received like our most important visitor.

As it only comes to us once yearly,

An entire month that passes by so quickly.

Are we prepared to receive it’s blessings?

The gates of Paradise are open and welcoming.

This holy month is not only about fasting,

It is a month of achieving goals and relentlessly striving.

It is a good chance for self-improvement,

Acting upon deeds that push us to betterment.

Doing Ibadah with the entire family,

Spending for the sake of Allah in charity.

The outpouring cries of repentance reach the heavens,

The doors of forgiveness are widely open.

The devils are locked up during this month,

They are weaker in terms of harming and misguiding anyone.

In Shaa Allah we all get to witness Ramadan,

Let it sit and stay at our homes as in good deeds we are acting upon,

Let it’s blessings and goodness be in continuity,

Even after it has finished, let it manifest in us consistently.
