Mona A. Moneim holds a Master’s degree in the field of Muslims, Globalization and the West from the University of Aberdeen, UK and a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Cairo University, Egypt. She spent her early childhood in Scotland before going back to her country Egypt, where she grew up and received her education. She taught English to University students and works now as a freelance translator and writer. She is interested in social and cultural issues, development, globalization, literature and the arts.
