Answer
Salam alaykum! Peace, blessings and mercy of Allah be upon your, dearest sister Fatima,
Thank you so much for your beautiful question and for the praiseworthy sincerity, humility and politeness that appear in the way you ask. May Allah please your heart and mind with the most satisfactory answer.
As a matter of fact, the answer to your question is quite simple. Our Beautiful and Glorious Allah told us clearly in the Qur’an about the people who will enter Jannah:
“[…] And they will delight forever in what their souls desire.” (Qur’an 21: 102)
So basically and simply, Fatima, whatever your heart desires of amazing rewards, you will get and enjoy eternally in Jannah, when you enter it- by Allah’s Will and Permission.
Rest assured that you will be completely and fully pleased with what you personally love and crave and desire.
And here are a few quick reminders as well:
– Allah is the One who created our senses. So even our sense of joy or boredom or happiness or sadness are all caused and created by Allah. As Allah said for example:
“and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep” (Qur’an 53:43).
So Allah is The One in control and has full power to please you. Just like He is The One who created your senses, He is The One who can fulfill, comfort and satisfy them fully.
– Remember dear sister that among Allah’s Beautiful Names is Al Kafee (The All-Sufficient One). This means that He is The One who has full power to suffice His created beings and fulfill their needs and desires perfectly and completely and He is enough for them.
– Allah told us in the Qur’an:
“No soul can imagine what delights are kept in store for them as a reward for what they used to do.” (32:17)
So, this is further reassurance that you will get beyond what you can even imagine. And this is emphasised in the hadith of the Prophet where he elaborated saying that Allah says that He has prepared for His righteous slaves what no eyes have seen, no ears have heard and no heart has ever imagined.
So, as you can see, all of this gives us beautiful and comforting reassurance that you will get what you desire and that Allah will most surely perfectly suffice us beyond our imagination.
Now, what we need to work on is two things:
First, seek to do what Allah loves and pleases out of love and gratitude to Him and pleasure with Him as a Perfect, Loving, Forgiving, All-Powerful, Perfect Lord whose Generosity exceeds anybody’s capacity and anybody’s efforts.
Second, let’s trust Allah and He is worthy of our full trust. Remember that any flawed idea or imperfect idea or expectation does not and will not ever belong to Allah, The Perfect, The Pure, The Flawless.
Remember when we say, Subhan Allah, it means Allah is High above any flaw or imperfection. And when we say Allahu Akbar we acknowledge and declare that He is Greater than everyone and everything, and He is greater than our dreams and expectations and aspirations.
So, let’s not worry. Let us put our full trust in Him. And let us lovingly and truthfully and sincerely strive to be in a state that pleases Him internally and externally, until He generously admits us in His incomparable paradise.
