โ€œThe Holy Quran is the Word of Allah. It is a book presented to us through our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him),โ€ Ali said.

โ€œWhen I first went to the madrasa, my teachers told me that I could do itโ€”that there is nothing in this world that I canโ€™t achieve. I must give credit to my teachers, or else I will be doing injustice to them. They have helped me a lot.โ€

Though Blind Since Infancy, Inamul Ali Memorizes Entire Quran - About Islam

A Journey of Faith and Determination

His path to memorizing the Quran was filled with challenges. Without the ability to read, Inamul relied on his strong memory and unwavering commitment. He would listen to each verse recited by his teachers and classmates, memorizing it through repetition.

โ€œI memorized it in parts and recited it before my teachers. With the blessings of the people and the support of my teachers, Allah made me a Hafiz-e-Quran,โ€ Ali recalled.

โ€œInitially, I would recite 4-5 lines a day. Later, I increased to 7-8 lines at a time. The maximum I could recite before my teachers at once was 75 lines. My friends also helped me a lot, spending their time teaching me even at the cost of their own studies.โ€

Throughout his education, Inamul received immense support from his teachers and classmates. His peers assisted him in his daily activities, and his teachers ensured he had the necessary guidance.

He pursued his Hifz (Quran memorization) studies in multiple madrasas, beginning at Bairaha Shaulmari Hafizia Madrassa near his home. He later studied at Katahi Gangapukhuri Hafizia Madrassa in Darang district, Marai Hafizia Madrassa, and Darul Uloom Ashrafiya Madrassa in Rangia.

Reflecting on his journey, he said, โ€œMy first teacher, Hafiz Qari Aftabuddin Ahmed, introduced me to the Holy Quran. At Darul Uloom Ashrafiya Madrassa, I received great support from my teachers and friends.

โ€œHafiz Khairul Islam, my mentor, played a significant role in my success. Samnur Hafiz Saheb also helped me, and Principal Nazrul Huzur took great care of me.โ€

A Motherโ€™s Pride

Inamulโ€™s mother, Afroza Begum, expressed her gratitude for her sonโ€™s achievement.

โ€œMy son lost his sight due to an illness when he was just 1.5 years old. We initially enrolled him in a school, but I always wanted him to become a Hafiz-e-Quran. Now, I am grateful to Allah for making this dream come true. The people of our village, his teachers, classmates, and friends all supported him. We even received financial help. At first, I was worried, but today I feel blessed and thankful to Allah.โ€

She also shared the challenges she faced as a mother:

โ€œI would be relieved of all worries when he gets married. I still remember how difficult it was for him to do daily chores, even eating his food. There were moments when I broke down. But as he grew, my son learned to manage everything on his own, even when we were not around.โ€

Since childhood, Inamul aspired to become a Hafiz. Today, he leads Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan and is actively involved in Dini Tabligh (religious preaching).

His goal is to become a Qari (expert in Quranic recitation) and continue spreading the message of the Holy Quran.

His journey is a testament to resilience, faith, and determination, inspiring many within and beyond his community.
