When we pick up the Quran to recite it, our intention must not be to just obtain rewards and blessings from it, in the form of obtainment of provision and/or dispelling of sorrows, even though these are undoubtedly among the sweet fruits of reciting it that we taste in this life.
We often times feel, “I’ve been making du’a and my du’a is not being answered. Allah is not hearing my du’a, or Allah is not answering my du’a. I feel like it’s not working… And sometimes when I feel that way then I want to give up.”…
How do you want to meet your Lord? You want to meet Him in best possible state; you want to meet Him while you’re trying your best to use the life that He gave you so generously, so mercifully in a responsible way, in a conscious way, were you grateful for that life?
