We probably do not realize that our homes have a scent; when we are smiling the beautiful food of Ramadan being cooked, we are not aware that it is actually getting on our clothes as well.
So, it is better to have a set of clothes kept away from the kitchen and the food smell to wear them for Night prayer and taraweeh.
