Starting with Allah’s Name… What Does Basmalah Mean?

When we recite the Qur’an we start with Allah’s name. We utter the famous phrase, “Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim“. It is called Basmalah. 

What is the meaning of this statement?
