Story of Abu `Ubaidah: The Ummah’s Trustworthy Man

Labeled by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as the “Ummah’s Trustworthy,” Abu `Ubaidah `Amer ibn Al-Jarrah was one of the first Muslims and one of the 10 companions promised paradise by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Like the other great Companions, Abu `Ubaidah participated with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in all the military expeditions. He had remarkable contributions during the Battle of Uhud. It was in this battle that he lost his front teeth trying to help the Prophet who was badly injured.

Did you know that Abu `Ubaidah was recommended by Abu Bakr As-Siddique to be the first Caliph after the Prophet passed away?

In this episode we learn more about this great Companion, his feats, merits and accomplishments with Dr Yasir Qadhi.
