How Islam Sees the “Limits of Science”?

Let The Quran Speak TV Program - Canada:

Science is one of the greatest intellectual achievements of humanity. And yet it often seems in conflict with religion.

How should religious believers view science?

And how should scientists view religion?

What is the relationship between religion and science?

Does Science tell all?

And is religion still relevant in the age of science?

With me to answer those questions, Dr. Shabir Ally, President of the Islamic Information & Dawah Centre International in Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Ally is a Muslim academic, and public speaker on Islam and comparative religion. He is also a prolific debater engaging in regular debates around the world with noted theologians, Christian apologists and renowned philosophers.

Ally was born in Guyana on the Caribbean coast of South America and moved to Canada with his family in 1978.

He holds an M.A. and PhD in Islamic studies from the University of Toronto. He also completed his B.A. in Religious Studies from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, with a specialization in Biblical Literature. Moreover, he possesses a B.Sc with a major in Physics. He has in 2013 completed his Ph.D and obtained his doctorate with his thesis being on Qur’anic exegesis.
