When we are mindful of the fact that God has control over all things and that He ultimately wants us to live forever in Paradise, we can begin to leave our sadness and worry behind. God loves us, and wants what is best for us. God has given us clear guidance and He is the Most Merciful, and the Most Forgiving.
`Umar took me, paid off my debt, and gave me an extra twenty saa` of dates. I asked him: "Why this increase?" He replied: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to give you this for my scaring you."
The Prophet's marriage to Aishah shows that intimacy and romance is not necessarily limited to rosy-eyed young dating couples. This blessed couple exemplified that the true love and companionship we all seek, is entirely possible within marriage and moreover, within the Islamic way of life.
Islam is a universal meaning not bound to any group of people, nor even to any particular figure or event in history. It is another word for true religion itself, and is the direct relationship between any worshipper — human, animal or even inanimate — and the only Being worthy of worship: Allah.
It is frustrating that some Muslims act as though the teaching of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) does not encompass them and fail to incorporate them practically into their lives. Injustice has become so sickly prevalent not just among non Muslims but unfortunately among Muslims as well.

Surah Ya-Sin is one of the famous often-recited surahs of the Makkan Qur’an. It is a very beautiful surah, and I will try to give you an overview of this surah breaking it up into six distinct parts. That’s probably one of the best ways to remember what’s covered in this remarkable surah.
One of the first things that stuck out to me with respect to the Quran has to do with preservation of the Quran. The Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for a period of 23 years. I converted in November 2010 and I kept it a secret for three months. I would leave the house in the morning with no hijab and then run around the corner and quickly put it on, because I knew that islamically I must wear the hijab but I also didn’t want to hurt my mom.
