LONDON – Fatema Karim Khaku, an inspirational young civil engineer, who has achieved great things in her role and not once feeling like Hijab has limited her in any way.

Taking the decision to don a hijab while she was thirteen, she finished her studies and now works as a transport consultant at ARUP, UK.

Islam sees hijab as an obligatory code of dress, not a religious symbol displaying one’s affiliations.
