As parents we are blessed with children and we have control over that child by naming them, dressing them, taking care of them. Many things can go wrong if we do not instill Islamic values from a young age and this can bring heartache to our daughters. If she is ready to marry, parents can bring suitors to her, but she should not be under any pressure to marry them. If she says no, it is her choice. It is a major sin for a parent to force their child into a marriage that they do not accept.
