Matthew was raised as a devout Christian in Southern California. He had a happy childhood and he was raised by a single mother. The church was very important to him in his life. When he was 19 he was talking to his friend who had just became Muslim. After the most amazing conversation he ever had, he started to look into Islam before embracing it.
