Wa alaykum assalam wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh
In the Name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Mercy-Giving
All praise is due to Allah. Peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad.
Traffic laws have to be obeyed because they were enacted to prevent accidents and serious damages and, therefore, it is prohibited to violate such rules.
However, such violation does not necessarily render your income haram. This depends on whether such violation affects the income or not. Neglecting to wear the seat belt, for example, does not affect the income, while making a not-allowed U-turn to cut the way short does.
So, you are advised to stop violating such laws and to purge your income by calculating an approximate percentage affected by such violations in order to give it out in charity.
Almighty Allah knows best.
