Alhamdulillah, we have completed Ramadan and `Eid is now upon us! `Eid is a time for spending time with the family and for celebrating the end of Ramadan. How did the Prophet (peace be upon him) celebrate his `Eid?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
In this Fatwa:
- Eid is supposed to be fun
- The Prophet allowed two girls to sing using duff.
- The Abyssinian kids were dancing with their spears and having fund in the Prophet’s mosque.
- Imams, who give Eid khutbah, should not make it sad.
