During the Eid celebration, mosques and organizations need volunteers in order to host Eid prayers and Eid events. So, the question comes up, should one volunteer on Eid or spend their time on Eid with their family?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
In this Fatwa:
1- You should strike a balance between volunteering and spending time with the family.
2- You can volunteer in the morning and spend the evening with the family.
3- You can volunteer this year and spend the coming Eid with the family.
4- Families can also volunteer together.
