Ustadha Paulina Rivera is a Latin-American revert to Islam from Mexican and Puerto-Rican decent. She took shahada after reading the English translation of the Quran, while pursuing her undergraduate studies in Sociology at California State University of Fullerton. She married and continued her education in Sharia and Da’wa overseas in Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She is also a certified Muslim Chaplain from the Haram - Masjid An-Nabawi. She is a proud Muslimah, Mentor, Chaplain, Dai’ah and current graduate student at the University of Southern California (USC) and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and Psychotherapy. She aspires to educate, empower and uplift women in the Muslim-American, revert and Latinx community.
